Balancing life between his old family home in central Delhi and his serene, lotus-filled studio in Gurgaon, Satish Gupta works amidst a Zen-inspired calm. The studio his first major creation bought from his mural commission reflects his deep spiritual journey shaped by life’s trials: an early heartbreak, a near-fatal brain tumour, and a long recovery that led him toward Zen philosophy and inner stillness. The birth of his son, Ananda, brought renewed light and energy into both his life and art, while the giant prayer wheels along the studio’s boundary stand as silent symbols of his enduring engagement with peace and mindfulness.
